 This was our 1st ride on the Ranger in a couple of years, it felt so good to me out in the Mountains doing what we love.  We went of Tibble Fork Canyon which is Me and Chris's Canyon anyway lol... it is where we spent our weekends when we were younger.  It brought back so many memory's of how carefree we use to be,  and felt so good to be able to do this with our kids.  We had packed a lunch so about halfway we found a picnic table and had lunch.  We rode all the way over to Cascade Springs and back ( 45 miles), the canyon was really empty and the temp was just right and the Boys loved it.

It is so beautiful up here, LOVE IT!!!  

We play a game, who ever finds the most animals by the end of the day wins, Jace found this deer and photographed it. 

August 30th, 2012 Jace is 7

 My sweet boy is 7 years old today...We have hit the goofy, silly, prank pulling, armpit farting, towel wiping, faze, and I love it so much.... Jace is such a happy free spirited boy, he loves everything he is doing weather it going to school, doing homework, or camping and fishing, he is ready to go and has a great time doing it.   He is so smart, it catches me by surprise how fast and well he can memorize poems and speeches.  In school they are learning about 1 state a week and he really loves this subject, this week they learned about Nevada, and was able to point out Sage Brush as there state flower and proceeded to tell me lots of things I didn't know about Nevada. Jace is so responsible with a lot on his plate, after school he has math, spelling, writing, and problem solving homework, then reading, typing, and piano, and he gets it all done quickly with time to spare.   Jace and Trevor are not only brothers but friends, Jace never leaves Trevor behind even when he has a friend over, he wants to include Trev.... I LOVE YOU SO MUCH JACE.

 T. J. and Carol built Jace a computer for his Birthday, and when he turned it on the screen saver was Ninjago he couldn't believe it.

 The we went out for Pizza and Bowling with Grandpa and T and Carol on the day of his Birthday.

 We had to pry him away from reading, this new Ninjago book.

 And of course we had to play at the Arcade mostly because Chris can not resist the flashy lights lol...

August 24, 2012, Jace's 7th Birthday Party

 We decided to have Jace's 7th Birthday Party at Grins and Fins Water Park, and then stayed the night so we wouldn't have to worry about leaving.

 Jace wanted a snake cake, and this is as close as I was going to get to that.

 We stayed up visiting the night away

 In the morning the kids swam again, and played in the Arcade.

August 18th, 2012 1st day of School

 Summer is over way to soon, and school has started.   What handsome dudes... This is Jace's 1st year going all day, he is going into 1st grade, and is so excited.  Trevor is a half day'er 3 days a week and... is not so excited.

July 26th, 2012 July Midway Days

 My Aunt Nancy and Bonnie have been so great letting all of us cousins come and have lunch and swim up in Midway.  They scheduled it every Friday the whole month of July, we had such a great time visiting, eating and swimming.

 All of us with all of our swim gear in tow, walk down to the pool to find out that it is closed for repairs.... Luckily there is a second pool. We piled into a couple of cars and headed...the kids thought is was so cool to ride in the trunk.

After Midway we decided to go to Maxwell's to eat and chill, what a cool place to go.... bean bag toss and lots of grass and kids to play with for the kids and a great band playing in the back ground.
