November 1st, 2nd and 4th, 2012 Newport Beach

We spend all of Thursday, Friday and Sunday at the Newport Beach, we couldn't get enough of it.  The water was warmer in the ocean then at our heated pool.  Perfect size waves, crystal clear water, no sea weed, you couldn't ask for anything better.  

 I loved seeing Jace so free, what a priceless grin on his face he had the whole time we were at the beach.

Dolphins were swimming right out in front of where we were swimming, AMAZING!!!

 

 Uncle Adam came down on Saturday and spent sometime with us.... we tried getting into the water however, he only made it up to his ankles ( come to find out Adam is very scared of being in the water).  After we went to the Spaghetti Factory, and then back to the Villa where we roasted Marshmallows and Snipe hunting, and Adam bought the kids a bunch of Toys, the Whoopy Cushion was the biggest hit sending us all into a huge laughing fit.... Thanks Adam:)

 
Jace at dinner ended up not feeling well, I just thought at that point he was exhausted, but later that night he ended up with a fever.

 

 

October 31st, 2012 H-A-L-L-O-W-E-E-N Balboa Island

H-A-L-L-O-W-E-E-N Spells Halloween!!! Is the them song for this trip... Jace sang it almost constantly for days until we all sang it out of the blue, stuck in the brain :).  The kids spent the morning doing crafts and treasure hunts up at the club house, and then at about 4 we headed to Balboa Island to Trick or Treat.  What an amazing place to be for Halloween, the community goes all out with decor, and costumes, and its warm!  

 At about the 4th house in, Trevor throw his hands in the air and said " 2 more houses and I am DONE with this Trick or Treating stuff" and he was serious, 2 more and he got in the stroller, however one way or another he still got candy from most houses.

October 26th-November 4th, 2012 Newport Beach

Well, we made it.... Our Annual vacation, this time again to Marriott Newport Coast Villa's in our usual room #2110.  We couldn't check in until Sunday, but why stick around when we could get the vacation started early so we left a couple of day's early so we could visit with "The Cody's" and Stacy in Vegas.  My Boy's just get absorbed at Theresa and Calvin's house with all the boy's and love it there.  On Saturday night we went to dinner with Me, Rachelle, Theresa and Stacy Wilkinson ( Chris's cousin),at this hip sushi place called Sushi Fever,  it was so great getting to catch up with Stacey, without the kids.  

We left early Sunday morning to head for Disneyland however things didn't work out as planned, and being the fly by the seat of our pants chicks we are we changed plans and headed for Newport.  By 4:00 we had the grocery's bought, unpacked and settled in and we were headed for the pool.  

And you cant forget about the marshmallow roasting and Snipe Hunting.... and it was successful we found a Snipe nest :)

The next morning we headed for Disneyland, Trevor couldn't wait to see Rapunzel, it was such a precious moment, one I will treasure forever.  Trevor stood there in awe for a moment and then leaped into her arms, then Rapunzel told him they would be best friends forever.

We spent 2 days in Disneyland, Jace's favorite ride was Star Tours, and Trevor's was Tour of Terror, and mine was the California Screamer, the coolest roller coaster ever!!!
