February 21st, 2009 1st Warm Day of the Year

This was such a beautiful day, the 1st warm day of the year. With the boys being sick we really needed this, we packed a lunch and had a picnic at the park.

February 19th, 2009 Trevor's Sick

Trevor has been really sick for about a 2 weeks now, last Saturday I took him into Kid Care, because when he would breath it sounded really crackly and he had a fever of 104. They said he had croup, by Monday he started getting better. But on Wednesday, his fever was back and he cried all night long, so I took him back in on Thursday and Dr. Lindgrin said he had double ear infections and gave us antibiotics. It is now Saturday and I think his ears are getting better but he still has a fever and his breathing is still really crackly. It is so sad to see him sick because most of the time it is hard to catch him not smiling and right now he isn't eating and is sleeping or just laying on us with no energy.

February 16th, 2009 Jace's 1st Dentist Appointment

A Child's Smile is so cute, its and island theme, and they were so good with Jace, when we left he wanted to go back. I know I should have got him into the dentist before now, and I have no excuse, but we will go every six months from here on.

February, 13th, 2009 Sleepover @ Mama & Grandpa's

Mom took Jace for the night so Me & Chris could go out for Valentines Day, she made a special night of it, they made Valentines Sugar Cookies and frosted them, and bought him some specieal PJ's and sweats that stay at Mama's house, and also got special sheets for his bed. It was so cute...

February, 10th, 2009 Trevor's @ 9 Months

Trevor is just a little guy, he is:
17 lbs. 10 oz. in Weight ( 7%)
28 in. in Length (35%)
45.5 cm. Head Circumference (51%)

We also found out that Trevor has Torticollis, which is a tilted head, one neck muscle is longer then the other. It is easily fixed with Physical Therapy.

-I am still nursing about 4 times a day, which we both love, it makes me take a minute to just hold and love on him.
-He is a great eater, everything I put in front of him is devoured, although I try filling him up on baby food before we eat because once he sees what we are having, I cant get him to eat the baby stuff.
-In the mornings he eats at least a cup of oatmeal and a 1/2 C fruit and juice, plus nurses, it amazes me how much he consumes.
-he is still in a rear facing car seat, and never complains when in it.
-He is not yet saying anything but will mimic sounds you make with your mouth like clicking your tongue.
-He loves patty cake, the second I start singing it he starts beboppin' and clappin'.
-We have a balloon that he loves to follow around the house, he tries to touch it and it moves, he follows it all over the house
-He goes to bed around 8 o'clock with no complaints, and sleeps till around 5 o'clock, which I am working on right now, by this age I don't think he shouldn't need a early morning feeding.
-When I tell him No, No!!! He shakes his head, smiles and keeps on doing what he shouldn't be.
-He had 4 teeth, top and bottom fronts
-He crawls everywhere and pulls himself up to everything he can including Paizlee and Jace.
-If you turn your back for just a minute, he is gone, Jace really helps keep an eye on him, if Trevor leaves the room or is headed for something he shouldn't Jace will yell "Mom, Trevor's on the move, Hurry!"
-All ready Trevor and Jace play together so cute, well its mostly Trevor watching Jace.
-Trevor is a lover he loves being held, he loves laying his head on my shoulder and snuggling.

Trevor is the happiest smiliest baby I have ever seen, he very rarely cries, we are so blessed to have such a wonderful special boy.

February 2nd, 2009 Dr. Jace & Hexus

This is too cute, Jace and Hexus ( That is what Jace calls Alexus) were playing Dr's and this little step stool was the examining table, they never gave 2 thoughts about the fact that it was only a foot long.
They took turns pretending they were dead, and the other would have to save them.

January 27th, 2009 Paizlee's Great Fall

Last night we had quite a scare, TJ came running up the stairs saying " I think we need to take Paizlee to the doctor" When I got down there, her eyes where fully dilated and her body was having convulsions. He had picked her up to move her away from the smoke, ( TJ was cooking and when he cooks there is always smoke) Paizlee is phobic of smoke, when they got near the smoke she wiggled out of his arms and landed on the tile floor, and then had a seizer. So we wrapped her up and rushed her to Cottonwood Animal Emergency, they knew we were coming so as soon as we got there, they rushed out with a gurney and took her back to asses her. I thought for sure we would not be bringing her home, I thought this would be our last night with her. But after the Doc reviewed all of the x rays, he was as shocked as we were. No broken back or legs, nothin'. She tore the ligaments that hold the legs together and bruised her colon. So they told us to keep her very medicated for the week and she should be ok. Jace saw Paizlee before we took her to the emergency room and was very worried. The next morning Jace kept making sure she was covered up and comfy.

January 25th, 2009 Good Wood

Dinner @ Good Wood with Chris's side of the family, there were 13 of us ( Me & Chris w/ r'boys, TJ, Grandpa & Grandma, Karen & Matt, Brittany & Jaren, and Jaren's Parents). We had a great time and the food was really good. ( I think Brittany & Jaren have tongue problems, every picture I take of them they have it hangin' out?)

January 20th, 2009 Funny Bug Graduation

I loved watching the little show they put on very much, Jace was so proud to show me everything he had learned, and loved that Mama came to watch him. At the end they got called up one at a time to show a trick and receive their metal, Jace did a front roll.

Jace is now in the Mini Flips class, the kids are a lot more advanced in it, and he is learning a lot of new things.
