Walking with Dinosaurs

January 4th, 2009 The Wilkinson's Christmas Party

Every year after Christmas we head to California for the Wilkinson's Christmas Party at John & Dennis house. We spent all day visiting, and eating chips and dips and feasting on a Prime Rib Dinner.

Aunt Terri really need some grand kids, she is sooo.... cute with the boys.






It was 75 degrees the whole time we were there, HEAVEN


Aunt Terry got Trevor these to stuffed animals, Jace called them Trevor's Buba and More Buba, I thought that was so cute.

We had been bouncing a ball down a flight of stairs for quite a while when Jace laid on the floor and said I am a ball, lets try throwing me down the stairs.

After the Party we went back to Chris house so that Grandma Wilkinson could see the boys for a minute. She played with the boys really good.

January 3rd, 2009 Visiting Grandma Betty's Grave

Grandma Betty meant so much to Chris, I can tell his heart aches when we come to California and she's not around. We went and visited Grandpa Dan and Grandma Betty's Graves, they are laid to rest in such a beautiful spot, we really had a nice time just hangin' out, listening to the birds and enjoying the nice California temps.


It is so peaceful here, not another soul around, just rolling hills.



Every time we go to Grandma Wilkinson's house Jace always tracks down this contraption, it blows air and that is about it, but he loves fiddlin' with it.

December 29th, 2008 Alexus Birthday Party

Lex had a Princess party for her 4th birthday up at Nancey's Midway home, we had such a great time, in this picture she is getting ready to make her grand entrance .

He she is making her entrance, with Jace as her Prince and the Zack and Cody are the Guards.


They played Pin the Princess in the Castle.

December 27th, 2008 The Nielsen Christmas Party

The Nielsen Christmas Party is always at our house, this year everyone came early and we went shopping first, Kaylee and Jace held hands walking through the stores.


Jace got Hot Wheels for Christmas and Papa helped him get it all set up, and then played with it for hours.

Me and Michael both had new cameras, we had a competition to see who's took better photos, I thought this was a cool photo of TJ's eye.



This is my uncle John, we don't see him very often , I am so glad he came.
It's tradition to stay up 'til all hours of the night playing cards and pool, sleep for a couple of hours and then get up and make breakfast. This is the next morning after 3 hours sleep.

Christmas Day 2008

Christmas morning around 2 AM we woke up to a little hammering sound, when Chris got up to see what the sound was we heard Jace sneaking back to his room, he had found out Santa had brought him a new tool bench. Even though he was very excited we talked him into going back to sleep until morning. Around 7 AM we all got up and headed to Grandpa & Grandma Wakefield's for breakfast and Christmas.


Around 1 o'clock we came home to do our own Christmas, play with toys and relax.

The helicopter that TJ got Jace was the hit this Christmas for young and old.


Trevor crawled all the way through his walker, with obstacles and all.

He looks so proud of his accomplishment.


At 6 PM we went back to Grandpa & Grandma's for dinner and Ashlee's Birthday.
