April 22-25th, 2022 Fort Lauderdale Girls Trip

Yes! This is me flying over Atlanta :) 

About 5 days ago, we decided I could go on this Girls trip with Amanda and her friend Hollis. I have been talking to Amanda for over 2 years! I headed to meet her right now.  I left home around 6pm on Thursday, I went with Jace to his baseball ⚾️ game, then to the airport.  My flight ✈️ wasn't until 1:55 am, then a transfer in Atlanta (awesome HUGE airport), this was a long night of traveling, however it didn't faze me, I was to hipped up for this ADVENTURE.

We met at the airport, finding each other at the airport was a challenge in itself LOL 😆 

We were on the phone like " I'm at baggage claim B!" " me too, I'm at baggage claim B too"

We did eventually figure out that I was at Delta, and they were at a different terminal.

😂🤣😂

When we finally found each other, we hugged for like 5mins. It felt so good to finally meet her, touch her, hug her 🥰, these last 2 years have been the hardest of my life, and she has been there with me through all of it!! ( Brenda too, I don't want to leave her out of this, She has been there through the thick of it also, even though she wasn't with us, she was with us in spirit)

We checked into this cute quaint 

BEACH PALACE HOTEL

Check in wasn't until 5, so we went to the hotel bar, and had a Motito's.

Now to check a couple things of my bucket 🪣 list (now that I'm saying this out loud, they are silly)

-peeing in the same bathroom 🚻 with a friends. 

-changing into swimsuits 🩱 in the same stall with friend's.

This is were we saw our 1st wild iguana, and also found out that Amanda, is a chicken liver🤣

After checkin we took an uber to Cafe Ibiza

It was directly across from the beach

The food delicious 

The view amazing 👏 

But the People watching PRICELESS!!!

This guy wanted us to pay him for a picture of him and his chicken in a onsie🤣🤣🤣

after dinner, we wanted to check out the beach, however the wind was so strong, we had to hide behind beach chairs that were laying on there sides.

Now, normal people would be like, ok it's to cold and windy let's call it, Nope! Not us, we decide we need hoodies so we can still sit on the beach in the hurrican winds, sheltered by chairs.

Here we are trying to take a picture together but couldn't stop long enough to get it🤣🤣🤣🙈 day 1 and I have never laughed so hard for so long in my life.

These bike 📸 are the greatest of the trip, I LOVE them so much❤️❤️❤️

Day 2 

I tried to catch this one but.... Amanda and Hollis freaked out! I decided to leave it alone, I didn't want to give them a heart attack 🤣

We headed out for the day to go snorkeling, it was only about a 20 min walk, we Hollis found this cute greasy spoon for Brunch, included with it was a cranky old lady waitresses, she was so sassy I loved it!  We sat out on the front patio, the weather, company and food were perfect.

I had a Turkey Club, it was really good.

we Found out during brunch that our snorkling trip was canceled due to the high winds, so we decided to go sun 🌞 at the beach ⛱️ 😎

We got our feet wet a couple of times, when we got hot, but most of the time we just relaxed on out tent😂

Oh yes!!! The tent 🤣🤣🤣

Ok for a while, we were the people, PEOPLE were watching.  We spent a good 45 mins. trying to set up this shade tent in very windy condition, with no instructions.  This is what it should have looked like.... we were no where close, and ended up using it as a beach ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️blanket. ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

Oh my heck!!! Again people watching was top notch!!! This man had to have had a penis pump in his speedo, you just could help looking 🙈😎😂

I'm not really sure which was the star of the show 👙🦞

After lunch we walked down the pier, there was the coolest 😎 pelican, she even let me pet it.

We Ubered back to our Royal PALACE, Amanda headed upstairs to nap n refresh, and me and Hollis hung out at the bar. They were playing line dancing music and me and 3 other girls "tried" remembering the steps to boot scooting boogie. 

This ladies was so beautiful, and hilarious 😂 she was here all week for a Ballroom Competition.

We got ready for the night and Ubered to the Rock  Bar, we had amazing food

They had a dance 💃  club in the back, I had the TIME OF MY LIFE  dancing to the incredible music 🎶 🎵 😍 ❤️ 

Day 3

We had to get out early to catch our 

Catamaran and splash cruise 

We grabbed a sandwich 🥪  and ate on the dock while we waited

We toured around for awhile, and went under a bridge that opened for us to go through it.

They parked the catamaran on millions row, and we went down a slide, swam in the ocean, it felt so good.

we ended up meeting 2 other beasties on a Girls trip, so fun!!!

And yes there swimsuits match, and yes she is grabbing my book 🤣

After the catamaran we walked to the beach ⛱️  and yes.... round 2 with the tent was no more successful then the 1st time 🤣🤣🤣

Also AMANDA was for sure that there was a stingray in the ocean, she is a little bit scared of anything with a heart beat 🤣 which I love so much because it doesn't stop her from.doing things, it just makes it a lot more hilarious anytime we encounter critters 😍

For dinner we ubered to the Crafty Crab 🦀 😋 

Oh my gosh!!! The food was so good

They brought it in these steamed bags

soooo FREEKING good.

Me and Hollis were not ready to go to bed yet so we decided to say at the Hotel bar to continue the adventure 

and when that closed we walked down to the 

Bamboo Beach Tiki Bar 

The directions we had were, walk down the road until you see a vertical blue hotel sign, we left not sure if we would actually find the place, but we did😁

We got a drink and headed to the ocean, for some reason that seemed like the right next move? And it was we bet these 3 girls, they called themselves the 3 witches 🤷‍♀️ they were 😎.  

we dragged ourselves out of bed the next morning, had breakfast at the hotel and headed to the airport 🛫
