We took our egg coloring very seriously, we had such a great time, it was really funny we would take turns entertaining Trevor outside so us adults could focus on our egg art.

It was such a beautiful day, perfect weather, and my Mom had colored eggs and candy throughout her yard for the boys to find.

For dinner we went up to Grandpa's, I dont know what we would do without Grandpa, he is such a huge part of our family. The time he takes to spend with the boys is so priceless.

We had a Circus Party for our wild man Trev, We rented a Pig and my Dad brought his goat. I know you ask how does that make a Circus Party, well you add Popcorn in fun little red stripped bags and add a trapeze ( Trampoline) and lots of balloons.... it worked for Trev he loved every minute.

April 14-19th, 2011 California Road Trip

We drove down to Lake Elsinore, CA in one day this time, which is quite an accomplishment, we didn't get on the road until about 10am and then got stuck in traffic in Orem for an hour. Then about that time the kids were hungry for lunch so we stopped for lunch. Then they needed to go potty, then Trevor needed to you now what..... and then finally they fell asleep and we got a lot of ground covered. And thanks to our New Tahoe when they woke up we had movies for them to watch. Our usual when we go to visit family down here is, me and the boys get up and go down to have breakfast, then we go back up to the room grab swim suits and go swim at the pool for an hr. so that Dad can sleep in and then get the mornings work taken care of. This trip we spent a lot of time at Grandma and Grandpa Wilkinson's house, the boys fly remote control helicopters, played catch and caught lizards.

It is funny that the lizards in these pictures both had there tails, that is only coincidence, that didn't last long. Jace lost 2 different ones in the house and only 1 was found. And watching Chris trying to catch these little guys was so funny, I wish I got it on video, it would be great blackmail.

One of the days Me and the boys took off for a day at Oceanside Beach, I love it here with the playground right on the beach. When we first got there is was a little chilly so i decided we would rent a 6 person bike and we would check out the sights along the board walk, what a mistake, I was dying and we had only gone about a quarter mile or 10 minutes, so that didn't last long.

What a fabulous day, the boys played in the ocean, we buried each other in the sand, and spent a long time on the pier watching all the fisherman.

It is a tradition to go the dairy and feed the animals.

I love this picture, when ever Trevor is getting tired he plays with his hair or anyone else for that matter.
Adam bought the boy's a automatic Nerf gun and I think these kids had more fun with it then the other kids.

10/10/10 Deer Hunting

Me and the boy's decided to go up and spend the day with Deer Hunting with Chris, Papa and Uncle Ernie. I wasn't sure of the exact location, but I thought how hard would it be, wll let me tell you we looked all day on Saturday, with no luck. So Sunday we headed up again after getting some helpful directions from Chris. We drove up Fairview Canyon with the windows down and the Doors Playing in the radio (because thats what my Dad always had playing on the Deer Hunt, and everywhere else we would drive ). What a beautiful fall day it was.

The big manly men really have hard rough living conditions.

Jace figured out how to work a wrist rocket, he also hiked with Chris for a long ways. I had never heard an elk bugle be for, it is so amazing, and eerie, standing in a forest, with the only sound is leafs blowing in the wind, and hearing the bugles back and forth from the male and then the female.

This is a luau that we had one night for the heck of it.

October 3rd, 2010 Trevor's 1st Stitches

Trevor had been helping Jace unload the dishwasher, and grabbed a hold of a Ninja blade, it sliced his thumb right to the bone. I knew as soon as I saw it, he needed stitches, I couldn't decide whether I should put him in the front seat so I could hold pressure on it or in his car seat, I wrapped it up as good as I could, but before we got out of the driveway he had tore it off, and by the time we got to the hospital he was covered in blood along with his carseat.Poor Jace, he was so scared and worried about his bro... he kept saying "Mom I'm gonna cry"

Trevor fell asleep in the waiting room after they had wrapped it up so he couldn't see it.Trevor ended up needing 4 stitches and because it was only 4 they don't sedate, I had to hold him down while they numbed it, AWFUL!!!

September 17th, 2010 T.J. moved out

T.J. Moved out... What a hard day... I had such mixed emotions this day. Of course I am happy for him, you know getting his first place, living on his own, but I am so bummed to see him go, he has lived with us for 11 years. I am going to miss him terribly!!!

Trev has a spare key in his pocket everywhere he goes, just in case he finds a need for one.

So this is his 1st night in He and Carol's new apartment, I know it's looking a little bare, they are going to need to buy some furniture, lol. Carol had had eye surgery the day before and wasn't doing well so he spent the 1st night all by himself, it broke my heart, but T is loving life.

Jace wanted his very own fishing pole and bait box. Chris had a great time buying all this stuff and organizing all the tackle. He wanted such grown up stuff this year, he also asked for an alarm clock so he wouldn't over sleep ( UPDATE: he uses it every night, when it says 9:00 he on his own turns his tv off sets his alarm and goes to sleep) great little investment.

July 29th, 2010 New Motorhome / Annual Panguitch Fishing trip

We pulled our 5th wheel into our newly poured driveway and found out that it would scratch it everytime we pulled in our out... That was enough of a reason to get a Motor home (we had been looking on and off for a while). This was a crazy day we unloaded our 5thwheel, went and picked up the our new Motorhome and reloaded it all in enough time for Chris and Jace to head to Panguitch for the annual fishing trip...

This is my beatifull yard, a little tore up from all the construction but recovering well considering we have had a whole new sprinkler system put in.
Here is the final product our new stamped colored concrete driveway and new fence.

We also, since we had our yard tore up for sprinklers I talked Chris into letting us get a in ground trampoline.

So Judd and Sammy's wedding happend to be another great excuse for all of us Nielsen's to get together, it doesn't take much and we are all spending the night somewhere, in some hotel. This time we happend to find a hotel that had a 24hr indoor pool that was seperated from the rest of the hotel so we could be as loud as we wanted with no complaints, we had a great time.

This morning Trevor took his diaper off, went and got a pair of Jace's undie's and headed for the bathroom and went potty. So I decided to get the little potty out and Trevor spent the day on it, at his own free will. This had nothing to do with me not once did I say "Trevor do you need to go potty" This was ALL him. Then that night I decided for some crazy reason to let him sleep in his undie's....surprise, surprise they were dry the next morning. I have not needed a diaper since yahooo!!!

Grandpa could not wait to give Trevor his birthday present. It was the cutest Car's car. Trevor shrieked with excitement. He got right on it and started driving with out even looking where he was going.

Oh... I am so glad we have taught Jace to always wear his helmet, because man that head hit the pavement hard.

April 12th, 2010 Easter Weekend

We went to Mama's and Grandpa Jerry's house to color eggs, and have lunch, when we got there Jace and Trevor found out that the Easter Bunny had left a cute little bike for Jace and a little scooter for Trevor at there house..... It turned out to be really nice outside so the boy's played with there new bikes.

I LOVE THIS PICTURE!!!This is the cutest little training bike, no training wheels and the perfect size.

For dinner Easter night we went up to Grandpa Gary's house where Karen and Brittney had made a Delicious Easter Dinner, the whole family was there and it was a very nice time, but I didn't get any pictures, which I am very bummed about

The next day we went to Papa and Grandma C's house to color eggs, it was an adventure, right after we got there a blizzard hit, and the power went out. So we colored eggs, did puzzles, played horses all by candle light and flash lights... It was really cozy.
we bundled Jace up so he could go for a ride on the 4 wheeler in the blizzard to get there baby Goat.

You cant tell but we are in pitch black, playing by flashlights

Trevor kept ending up in his crib so I decided to sneek around the corner and watch how he did it, I was shocked..... I about had a heart attack when I saw how fearless he is. I Now know why he keeps doing it he loves falling. Scary!!!

February 14th, 2010 Hyatt Camp and Snorkeling

Today we dropped Jace and Lex for a day of fun at Hyatt Camp (9am-4pm), then we dropped Trev off to have a day of fun at Nancy and Bonnie Camp... And Me and Rachelle had a moment with out kids wahooo!!!
So we decided to go snorkeling, we dropped our chairs off an the grassy beach (very cool) and headed in, I have to say it was a little creepy, just the 2 of us, with out any ocean smarts, so we stayed close to shore and seen some amazing fish, I could not believe the amount of fish we were swimming with and never knew it. Then we laid out for an hour, quickly changed and met Bonnie and Nancy for lunch at Keokies.

We found it so cool to see Banana's growing on the trees right at our Hotel

After we all got cleaned up we headed back to the Condo for our "Pina Colada Sunset Toast" and Dinner...
Our time here is quickly coming to an end, I really am not ready to come home yet!!!

February 15th, 2010 Whales up Close

This morning we decided to eat breakfast at a restaurant that was in our Hotel, it was a enormous buffet with everything you could imagine, and very delicious.... I have to admit though, I don't think anything can beat breakfast at Nancy's Condo, with the Island Music playing in the back, the breeze blowing through and the sound of the ocean in the background

After breakfast we walked the Hyatt Hotel grounds, everything there was so breath taking, from the lazy river pool to the flowers and the birds, I still could not believe that I was there with my two boy's....

Around Noon we had lunch at Nancy's, and of course it was fabulous, then we headed off to a Whale Watching dinner Sail on Captain Andy's Sail Boat.

We had debated over and over... Take Trevor with us on the boat or leave him behind, and I am so glad we brought him, he shrieked and squealed with excitement, and thought he was so cool with his sunglasses on... until he crashed hard, he fell asleep about 30 min. into the trip and slept the whole time, Nancy found a quiet comfy place for him...

We saw about 15 whales, 5 dolphins and a Turtle ridin' the waves

It was so cool you could move around the boat as you would like, me and Jace got right to the front of the boat where we could feel the spray of the ocean on our faces... That black that we sat on was a trampoline so you could see right through it to the water.

I loved seeing Trev's hair blowing in the breeze...

February 13th Hawaii Day 4

I come in from swimming to get my phone and found these, Chris had sent me this beautiful bouquet of flowers for Valentine's, what a wonderful man I am married to, 1st he sends us on this dream of a vacation, and then on top, sends me flowers, thank you so much my love.

This is our 1st time eating out, the food was so good, and they had Tiki Torches, live band playing island music.

My poor fair skinned boy got so burned, I applied and reapplied sun block 3 times and this still happened, I feel so bad.... Dang IT!!!

February 11th, 2010 Day 2 Hawaii

This morning we got up around 6:30, slowly got our selves together and went over to Aunt Nancy's for our delicious morning routine, we had pancakes with hot syrup and fresh pineapple, then we walked down to see the Turtles then down the coast for a little walk. Then we all jumped in our Mini Van and drove down to the Spouting Horn, its a spot where the water shoots up through a hole, and it also a little flee market, we all got us a little souvenir. After that we went back to Nancy's for a quick lunch, then went back to our Hotel, got in our swimming suites and headed for the pool... oh.....there are no words to describe how wonderful the pools are, we dropped our towels right outside our room and got into this lazy river that winded through waterfalls and caves, all I can say is WOW!!!

Then we went to the Poipu village and watched a little hula show, the kids got to get up onto the stage and learn a hula dance and of course we shopped some more, with no kids let me add Bonnie and Nancy took the kids back to the Condo with them so we could take a moment to shop.

February 9th, 2010 HAWAII

This is our 1st morning, Trevor woke up at 6:30, we got dressed and went over to Nancy's Condo for breakfast. We had hard boiled eggs, papia, pineapple and juice out on her lani ( I feel like I am in a dream). After breakfast we waked down to the shore and watched the big turtles coming up to get air, then walked along the shoreline.

This spot had great big Turtles right off the shore that would come up to get air, the kids were able to spot them really well.

This is a baby Monk Seal that had gotten up on shore and was taking a nap.
This is Poipu Beach the #1 rated beach in the United States.

I dont know if you can see it but to the right, 2 whales are blowing up water, this picture is taken while on Aunt Nancy's Lani.

When we got back to our hotel late last night, we come home(our Hyatt Hotel room) to this, we decided to change rooms when seen our room, and they were apologizing for the inconvenience. Our pools are open 24 hrs and so we decided to go swimming at 9 oclock at night, it was quite an experience, it was really windy and dark with soft lights throughout these canal type pools, we had a bencher ( adventure ) exploring all the dark crevises and waterfalls.

January 11th, 2010 A Day at the Beach

This is day 5 of our California trip, I wanted to do something vacationee before we headed home, so we headed for the beach, just me and the boys.... a little scary yes. The 1st little street I went down to get close to the beach had a playground and McDonalds right on the beach, so we parked and headed. The boy's had a great time on the playground for about 10 minutes and then wanted to be in the ocean which I did not plan on at all. I decided we could get closer and at least get our feet wet, Trevor immediatly found a low in the sand where water had gathered, flopped down on his belly and started rolling in it like a seal, so much for just the feet. Needles to say it was a great day... Jace found quite a few seashells, and even a sanddollor to take back for show and tell, we also walked the whole lenght of the peir and spent time watching Pelican's up close.

January 10th, 2010 The Wilkinson's Christmas Party

It is so great getting together with the Wilkinson's, this is one get together I never want to miss. John and Dennis always have such delicious food, and I love catching up with everyone. Not to mention the 75 degree weather in the middle of January.

Aunt Terry is so cute with my kids, I think most of this day she spent playing catch and hide and seek with Jace.

January 9th, 2010 Hangin' with Uncle Adam

Adam was so great, he totally took the whole time we were there and devoted it to us, he took us to this Dairy Farm were the kids could pet all the animals, Jace loved it so much. Adam definitely stepped up to the plate.

Trevor in the night had got sick in the night and by the time I got him to an Urgent Care Facility he had a fever of 105, they ripped his clothes of and but him in an ice bath, it was so heart breaking to see my baby so sick. They got his fever down, said he had the start of an ear infection and sent us home. Even with his fever down and on Tylenol all he wanted was for Adam to hold him, Adam was so sweet, I think he enjoyed it just as much...

We had such a great time at the Fair, such a great time that we spent 10 hrs there, crazy I know... We bought the kids wrist bands so they could ride the rides as much as they wanted over and over again, so of course we stayed until they closed it down.

I couldn't believe what a little dare devil Jace was, he kept trying to do a back flip, 20 feet in the air.

Jace loved this slide a lot, and snuck 4 in before they realized that he was to short, so lucky me, I even got to go on it a couple of times so Jace could keep going.

Both me and Rachelle's hubby's were out of town so we stayed at the fair until after dark to listen to the Boyz 2 Men concert, on the outside of the stadium. Jace and Lex got there groove on. I love Jaces Hard dancing.
Ok, this is a total sign that I am getting old, this Farris Wheel scared me to death, they aloud me to go on with Trevor, and the little cups that they send you up in only have flapping doors that don't lock and and no seat belts.... the kids were really good in it but I felt that any minutes they where going to jump out... Never again!!!

Trev loved it though.

September 2nd, 2009 Grandma Wakefield has passed

Grandma Wakefield passed away yesterday afternoon, she has left a big hole in our hearts, and for Chris, I cannot imagine the grief he is going through, to say goodbye to the women who has had such a big part in raising you.... I am so sorry.... I found this poem that I would like to share.

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free,
I'm following the path God laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard his call,
I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work, to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,

Grandpa Wakefield gave Jace this John Deer Tractor for his Birthday, it is the cutest dang thing I have ever seen. Jace can whip it around like he has been driving for years.

Is that to funny, Trevor is such a tough nut, he just got up and wanted more.

Jace wanted to bring his Space Shuttle so he could deliver the pieces with his Tractor.

August 29th 2009 Jace's 4th Birthday Party

This is the Pirate Treasure Chest Cake I made for Jace's Birthday Party.

Jace asked for a Great Big Space Shuttle for his birthday, I searched everywhere for one, I finally found one on the east coast so I 2 day shipped it here with 7 days to go.... no problem right... well friday night at 6:30, it still had not arrived ( keep in mind that this was his main gift from us) anyway I finally got a hold of the the place that I had bought it from, she had no idea why I hadn't recieved it yet but she overnighted us a new one, it got her the next morning at 9 am, AMAZING!!!
ok really who are the kids here, Chris and Jaron turned the tv onto the outdoor channel and shot nurf bullets at the deer on tv.

Jace and Lex jumped in the bounce house untill after dark, what a great birthday Jace had.

August 25th, 2009 Jace Starts Challenger Preschool

My sweet little baby is starting his 1st day of school, he is so excited, he woke up at 4:30 this morning wondering if it was time to go yet. And I feel so proud that we are able to send him to Challenger School.

We got everything checked out so he would be all ready.... he got a hair cut, and we got his teeth all checked out... and yes no cavities.
He also had a check up with Dr. Lindgrin, he weighs 35 lbs 41% and 3ft. 4 in 50 % so he is right were he should be.

July 26th, 2009 American Fork Ranger Ride

So like we hadn't done enough....We decided to go riding with Brit and Jaron up American Fork, this was the 1st time with Trevor, we rode hard all day long and both the boy's did awesome.

Chevy wanted to get into the water so bad so I stripped him down to his diaper and let him at it, it was so funny because he would sit right down in it, and then jump right back up with shock of how cold it was, and then he would do it again, over and over.
This is the view of the Heber Valley, I was so over took with emotion when we got to this point, I thought how amazing is this, that we are able to go as a family with both the boy's on this incredible adventure, know I know it was just a ride up the canyon, but when you have kids, you really learn to appreciate the little things that you get to do. Jace was taking a little snooze

We got a babysitter for Chevy Trevy and rode Trax down to the Bee's Game with Brittney and Jaron. We had such a good time, and it was Jace's 1st so we bought him a hat. I really worried about how good Jace would sit through all the innings but he did sooooo...... good, he watch the whole game, and he knew when to boo... and when to cheer.Of course the food helped keep him content as well, he had a Snowcone.....

August 8th, 2009 Franklin Basin Camping

This was a spur of the moment camping trip with the Strange Family, we dry camped up Logan Canyon from Friday to Sunday. We had a really good time, spending most of the time around the fire visiting, it was really quite cold, around 45 during the day and below freezing at night. Keep in mind that we are the only ones that had a trailer, the rest were tenting it, talk about some hard core campers, and one the them was only 4 months old. Jace had is own fire stick that he was able to man the fire with and I think he ate a whole bag of marshmallow's on his own.

Clint is very serious about his fires, using huge logs for wood, and lots of it.

July 24th, 2009 "THE 24TH"

This is our 25th annual Chucky Cheese Party with the Nielsen's, I can not believe that is has been going on that long. Everyone always complains about going but we just can't stop the traditon, and the kids love it.

Papa took Trevor around to all the little rides, Trevor's smile was just priceless

After Chucky Cheese we rushed home to have a BBQ at our house, we have a great backyard for that. The Walden's Family, Brittney and Jaron, T.J and Carol and My Dad and Carolyn all came. Everyone brought thier own meat.... except Brittney and Jaron, come to find out I had failed to tell them about that small piece of info.... Oops!!!
We had a little firework show in the backyard, and the kids did sparklers, ok we all did sparklers. We also had glow in the dark sticks that were quite a hit, even Duckie got to glow.

I had a Bridal Shower to go to down in Spanish Fork, and because Chris loves hangin out with the Nielsen's, he took us down, and then went and visited Ernie during the shower. Then we all went to lunch in Provo at a really good Mexican Joint. And then.... we decided to head up to Fielding Day's with Ashlee and Brian and Denise, we had dinner, music and fireworks, it was a really great day.
Brian is a Firefighter for Fielding and he got to set off the fireworks, so that was cool. The only bummer was that Jace wasn't with us, he was having a sleepover with Papa.

We went to This is the Place Park for a free day of fun, they had all sort of crafts, a petting zoo, horse rides, face painting, bounce houses, and a Train. This was a day where if I didn't have Jace who loved all of this stuff, I would have bailed, it was hot, and on dirt roads..... But for the kids I will endure anything to see them happy.

At the end of the day while we waited in line for the Train, the kids found some water to run through, that was Trevor's favorite part.

Chris's Annual Panguitch Fishing Trip

This is Chris's Annual Fishing trip with all the old guy's. He left on Wednesday and came home on the next Monday ( 6 days without phone service). This year me and Chris were in charge of all of the grocery shopping and meal planning for 20 of them. They rented Pontoon Boats on 3 of the day's, and the rest of the time the younger guys had to sit around listening to the old guys tell the same Alpha Beta Stories that are told every year, some of them can tell these same stories as if we worked for Alpha Beta

At 7 AM We met Rachael and her kids to go to the Taylorsville Parade, we got our chairs set up, then went to Sconecutter to pick up some breakfast. Then because the Parade got a late start we had to leave before it was over to head to Spanish Fork for the Daniels Reunion. Me and Rachelle were in charge of entertaining the kids so we rented a Bounce House, it was sooo..... awesome, BIG HIT!!!

Me and the Boy's met Clint, Denise, Micheal, Ashlee and her kids at Lagoon for the day, I packed a cooler and had a great day. Until a major Thunder Storm came barrelling through and chased us out.

June 17th, 2009 The Great Hike

So... This hike was so awesome, we started up by the U on the mountain, and ended up 2 hrs later at an overlook of the valley. It rained on us, and not just a sprinkle, I was soaked, and I loved it. Jace said 3/4 of the way up "I want to go to my bed and sleep", but when we got to the top, all energy came right back. I felt like we really accomplished something by the time we go to the top.

Jace and Lex found a Potato Bug.

Jace tripped on the way down, Lex put her hands on Jace's face and said, "Jace, you've got to be more careful"

Can you believe we have this Great Hike right in our own valley, it is amazing where we live and the adventures we can take right right here at our fingertips.

June 15th Liberty Park with Rachelle's Fam'

We packed a lunch and spent all day at Liberty park, with Rachelle, Lex, Bonnie, Kevin, and Theresa's Crew. Royce was such a good teacher to Jace, showing him how to play Lacrosse , he got pretty good at throwing and catch the ball.

The kids played in this little puddle for probably an hour, fishing and messing around, you would have thought it was a great big pond.
Trevor was so exhausted by the end of the day, Royce, Chase, Zack and Cody fought to hold him the entire day.

June 6th Weekend Wheeler Farm

So this is the 2nd year we have came to this Kids Club Party @ Wheeler Farm, they have Bounce Houses, Parachutes, Booths, Horseback Riding, I could go on and on. We had great day.

When Trev is just piddlin' around this is the face he makes, he puts his bottem lip over the top and blows air out. Trev is such a ham, he has such a cute personality,

This was actual Thursday night at Riverton Park, they were having an Art Festival. Jace did so good climbing this wall, he got about half way up.

So this was such a fun day, a bunch of us and our heard of kids took Trax downtown to the Gateway. We had lunch at a way...way...way.... to expensive of a burger joint, then got the kids swimming suites on to run and play in the dancing water.

This was so funny to watch them trying to get their towels laid out just right, and by the time Jace would get his smooth and flat Alexus would move hers, so he would have to start over again.
I think Trevor loved the water most of all, he would lay right down on the ground and slide, kind of like a Walrus.

Here is Jace giving a tour of the yard. I love my yard so much, planting, weeding, relaxing.... I love it all. By 2:00 our yard is mostly shaded, so during the hot part of summer, it's still quite nice.

We have a Snowball Bush that the Boys love to play under.

This is the table and chairs that I got for Mother's Day, Our front porch is my new favorite spot!!!
I spent 5 hrs. sanding this door this weekend, now if I could make my mind up on the new color to stain it.

It got up to 94 degrees today, can you believe it, we went from a very cool Spring to Hot Summer over night. Trevor got this cute little wadding pool for his Birthday, so I thought what a perfect day to brake it out of the box. We had Rachelle and Lex over for a little Swim Party.

I have got a secret obsession with the colors Red,Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple...all the colors of the Rainbow. And the colors of the pool along with the colors in the Umbrella, and their beach towels really appeals to my eye.

After it go to cool to swim, we headed out out front, we relaxed on my new chairs and the kids played on the skateboard.

So... Uncle Ernie had been watching a Mother Duck and her baby ducklings, she had hatched 9, and had 5 left to go. Ernie left for 15 mins. and when he came back the mama had takin the 9 ducklings and left the remaining 5. Sooo... he called up Chris thinking that it would be a great experience for Jace to see baby Ducks hatch. He watch hour after hour, after hour, until finally one of them made its way out of the its shell. This was an amazing thing to watch, what a wonderful little gift.

Jace named her Duckie. And what a tuff little Duck it is, Jace packs it around in a cooler, he watches T.V. with it, sleeps with it next to him, and when we are outside he packs it around in a little bucket full of water.

May 10th, 2009 Mothers Day and Tonsillitis

So on Friday Trevor all of a sudden got a fever of 103 and Tylenol wouldn't touch it, and he had no other symptoms so, Saturday morning I took him in to Kidcare. He has Tonsillitis, what an awful thing for a one year old to get, they give no antibiotics, you just have to tuff it out. We had 104.5 degree fevers for all of Saturday (while on Motrin). Luckily by Sunday it started to creep down, man oh man we have had a sick little boy. I did however have a wonderful Day, we went to Maama's house for lunch, and the weather was nice enough to be outside. Now there is more to this day but... T.J. will have to give the OK before I go into that.This is what me and T gave Mom for Mothers Day, I planted her pot and T, got her a Tree.
Chris and T even planted it for her, and I got from the boy's 2 rocking, swiveling Chairs and a Table for my front porch, along with some money for flowers.

We went to Cafe Rio for Community Base and a bunch of Firemen walked in, Jace marched right over to one of them and asked, Are you a Police Man? The Fireman told him what they did, and then Jace held his had and walked through the line with him. The Fireman was so intrigued by Jace that he took out to the Fire truck and showed him how things worked. Unfortunately Jace froze up and didn't dare go inside.

Trevor’s 1^st Birthday

I entered the world on the 2^nd of May @ 9:15 am that day,

I was lifted right out, I didn’t even cry.

I weighed 6 lbs. and 12 oz.; I was just a little guy.

I remember how proud my Daddy was to see me eye to eye.

Those first few months I didn’t do much at all, you see

My Mommy smiled with glee, just to sit and hold me,

She knows, soon I too will be three.

At 6 ½ months my first 2 teeth finally broke through,

And that made me think what did I do?

Although most days I am Dad & Mom’s comic relief,

They would be lost without me, that is my belief.

On December 7^th I took off crawling across the floor,

And a few weeks later I was pulling up, and finally off all fours.

The first time I put one foot in front of another,

I was 11 ½ months old and walked right to my Uncle and Mother.

I haven’t got it down just yet, but I practice every day,

Soon it will be figured out, just point me the right way.

I climb up and down everything, and there is something new I’ve eyed,

When I saw Mommy step just outside,

I took a go at the Fort & Slide.

I can climb up it and down it, what a great ride.

“Da-Da” and “Hi” are words I now say,

But “Ma-Ma is what you will hear most of the day.

As you can see, I’ve had a busy year,

Hard to believe my 1^st Birthday is here.

Today out of the blue Trevor took his 1st steps, I could not believe it. I thought he was a long ways from walking because he walks on the top of his toes, like he is holding onto the ground so tightly with his toes that they curl under.

We took a spur of the moment trip to Jackson Hole, WY with the Garn Family. Brian being a farmer, had a few day's off because of the rain, so on Thursday we headed North. I have never spent any time in Jackson Hole, we did a lot of shopping and just hangin out.

This is the 1st time I have been able to get Chris to swim since our wedding, we swam both nights. The pool was half inside and half outside, Jace even figured out how to hold his breath so go under the divider to go to the outside pool.

We bought Jace and Kaylee sun glasses, they both thought they were pretty cool.

This is such a great time of year to go to Jackson Hole, we were the only ones in town and all the animals were still around. We saw Buffalo, Elk, and Moose.

The Easter Bunny brought Jace a pair of skates, knee and elbow pads, and a helmet. I had no idea how far you have to come to skate, this is going to take Jace lots of practice.

At 3 o'clock we went up to Grandpa & Grandma Wakefield's house for dinner, all the kids were there and we had an easter egg hunt. Jace is getting really good at these!

April 11th, 2009 The Saturday before Easter

Our 1st Easter Egg hunt of the morning was at South Jordan City Park, the temp was very pleasant.

It turned out that Alexus only wanted the plastic eggs, which at this hunt there were only a couple, she was so upset she didn't get the one that see had her eyes on that she cried during the whole hunt. So.... we headed out to the Riverton hunt for round 2.
The Firefighters let Jace sit on the Fire Truck, I think he was in complete shock, he was speechless
2nd Easter Egg Hunt at Riverton City Park the weather... Not so pleasant, it rained most of the time. But it was mostly plastic eggs, both of them filled their baskets.

Our 3rd Easter Egg hunt was out at my Dad's house, which turned out to be the funnest of all, Jace loved searching through the trees for eggs. We colored eggs, and had a bunch of snacks, we had such a great time there.

We fit a whole heck of a lot of us into this corner booth. Lunch at the Pizza Factory, then after lunch we all went back to Grandpa & Grandmas house to visit, I think this is the first time we have all just hang out at the Grandparents house, I loved it we had a really great time visiting.

Coy wanted to change Trevor's diaper, so I let him, he did a pretty good job.

Even Chris made it, he had a run to Richfield and stopped on the way home.

I would never thought that this day would involve Kite Flying... We had quite a few turn of events that I wont bore you with that lead us to this flying Kites plan. Me and Rachelle went to Target while Eliza stayed at the park with all 7 kids ( including 2 babies) to get Kites, balls, bubbles, chalk, water and popcorn.

The weather was so perfect for kite flying, and I always thought that you flew your kite until it disintegrated and then you were done... but we flew them for quite a while and then brought them down and took them home... can you believe it we still have them.

This was a spur of the moment trip to the Zoo, Friday's after Little Gym Me and Eliza like to take the kids to do something and this week we decided on Zoo. And of course I always want Rachelle and Lex to come if they can. What a great time of year to come, the animals were on the move and hardly anyone was there.

My favorite animal was these Turkeys, we got to see them upfront and personal.

1st stop of the day, we had lunch with Mama at Malinda's with the Community Base crew, I love this picture of Mama and Jace.

Next we took a couple of trips to the city, I had to update my Mortgage License. Jace loved the hustle of all the cars and people, and how tall the buildings were.

Jace always has his feet like this, he is still a miniature Chris that is exactly how he stands.

We walked around for awhile so Jace could cross the street using the flags. It really got his adrenalin goin' cars freak him out a little... He loved it!

I know it sounds so silly... but it felt like forever since we had spent time with Rachelle and Lex. We went to the Myan for lunch ( they have made huge improvements). We sat right in front and the diver's talked to Jace and Lex in some other language for quite a long time, the kids kept saying what did you say...

Then we went to Target, the kids pretended that Lex was a seed, and after Jace plant and watered her, she became a beautiful flower :)

This is the 1st day of Trevor's Physical Therapy (at Primary Children's Physical Therapy). He has got 90 degrees of mobility turning his head to the right and only 60 degrees mobility turning his head to the Left, his neck is longer and stronger on the Left side and that is why he holds his head tilted (Torticollis). I will be bringing him to Therapy once a week and also doing 3 exercises at home.This is the 1st exercise I will be doing at home twice daily 30 seconds at a time.

The 2nd, exercise.....poor guy this makes him so mad
and 3rd exercise. Hopefully after a couple of months this will be corrected, if left untreated it can cause chronic neck pain.

February 19th, 2009 Trevor's Sick

Trevor has been really sick for about a 2 weeks now, last Saturday I took him into Kid Care, because when he would breath it sounded really crackly and he had a fever of 104. They said he had croup, by Monday he started getting better. But on Wednesday, his fever was back and he cried all night long, so I took him back in on Thursday and Dr. Lindgrin said he had double ear infections and gave us antibiotics. It is now Saturday and I think his ears are getting better but he still has a fever and his breathing is still really crackly. It is so sad to see him sick because most of the time it is hard to catch him not smiling and right now he isn't eating and is sleeping or just laying on us with no energy.

Mom took Jace for the night so Me & Chris could go out for Valentines Day, she made a special night of it, they made Valentines Sugar Cookies and frosted them, and bought him some specieal PJ's and sweats that stay at Mama's house, and also got special sheets for his bed. It was so cute...

February, 10th, 2009 Trevor's @ 9 Months

Trevor is just a little guy, he is:
17 lbs. 10 oz. in Weight ( 7%)
28 in. in Length (35%)
45.5 cm. Head Circumference (51%)

We also found out that Trevor has Torticollis, which is a tilted head, one neck muscle is longer then the other. It is easily fixed with Physical Therapy.

-I am still nursing about 4 times a day, which we both love, it makes me take a minute to just hold and love on him.
-He is a great eater, everything I put in front of him is devoured, although I try filling him up on baby food before we eat because once he sees what we are having, I cant get him to eat the baby stuff.
-In the mornings he eats at least a cup of oatmeal and a 1/2 C fruit and juice, plus nurses, it amazes me how much he consumes.
-he is still in a rear facing car seat, and never complains when in it.
-He is not yet saying anything but will mimic sounds you make with your mouth like clicking your tongue.
-He loves patty cake, the second I start singing it he starts beboppin' and clappin'.
-We have a balloon that he loves to follow around the house, he tries to touch it and it moves, he follows it all over the house
-He goes to bed around 8 o'clock with no complaints, and sleeps till around 5 o'clock, which I am working on right now, by this age I don't think he shouldn't need a early morning feeding.
-When I tell him No, No!!! He shakes his head, smiles and keeps on doing what he shouldn't be.
-He had 4 teeth, top and bottom fronts
-He crawls everywhere and pulls himself up to everything he can including Paizlee and Jace.
-If you turn your back for just a minute, he is gone, Jace really helps keep an eye on him, if Trevor leaves the room or is headed for something he shouldn't Jace will yell "Mom, Trevor's on the move, Hurry!"
-All ready Trevor and Jace play together so cute, well its mostly Trevor watching Jace.
-Trevor is a lover he loves being held, he loves laying his head on my shoulder and snuggling.

Trevor is the happiest smiliest baby I have ever seen, he very rarely cries, we are so blessed to have such a wonderful special boy.
